The Hurrah Players Present: Disney’s The Lion King

Join the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts as they welcome The Hurrah Players, Virginia’s leading family theatre company, who present Disney’s The Lion King Experience Jr. on Saturday, October 15, 2022. Disney’s The Lion King is a live musical adaptation of the 1994 animated film, bringing the wonderful music and adventures of the Pride Lands to life onstage, based on the Broadway production directed by Julie Taymor, with music and lyrics by Elton John and Tim Rice. Tickets are $22-$25.

The Hurrah Players, Virginia’s leading family theatre company, presents The Lion King Experience Jr. under the direction of Hugh R. Copeland, the founder and artistic director of The Hurrah Players Family Theatre Company and performing arts academy. Since its incorporation in 1984, The Hurrah Players have been and will continue to be a shining example to both our students and our community that theatre arts can be a vehicle not only for educational enrichment but for the emotional and social well-being of the participants as well.
