These lovely cottages offer a timeless interior, stunning outdoor views, and a seasonal (Mid-April to end of September) 14,000 sq. ft. pet friendly weekend entertainment deck; with a shared saltwater pool bar, staffed tiki bar, outdoor kitchen, and live music. As well, each cottage features a private entrance, private waterfront patio, a shared outdoor salon with sunset seating, private boat dock, and is only steps away from a small craft beach and sunbathing area.

Each cottage comfortably sleeps two adults 21+ years or older, features a top-of-the-line king size bed, soft linens, a luxurious state room, Bose speaker, flat screen TV, and free basic Wi-Fi. Kitchenettes are equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, and complimentary starter pack of coffee, tea, and water.

Located on 30 acres in the historic Chuckatuck area of Suffolk, Meadowbrook was originally part of a 200-acre working dairy and livestock farm by the same name, and many of the original farm structures remain on the property today.

Agricultural activities at Meadowbrook are limited to an extensive vegetable and fruit garden, fruit trees, grazing Black Angus cattle in the pasture, pecan trees, and raising chickens.

All guest rooms are furnished with complimentary WiFi (available throughout the property), flat-screen HDTVs with DVD players, fluffy bathrobes, and queen size beds.

Guest accommodations are located on the second floor of the main house, and in an adjacent cottage. All guest rooms are furnished for single or double occupancy only.

The guest cottage features the Cottage Garden Room and the Suite Retreat was the original detached kitchen from the mid-1800s. The cooking fireplace and chimney remain intact today, although no longer operational. The original main residence was demolished and replaced by the current two story Georgian style brick home in 1948.

Meadowbrook’s spacious living room, furnished with lavish Victorian antiques provides guests with a relaxing environment for conversation, reading, or planning your daily activities. The baby grand piano is available for visiting musicians to enjoy-or the innkeeper may delight you with some classical music if requested.
