Paint the Town – Festival Park Mural – Meet the Artist
We are happy to announce our involvement in adding a pop of color to the Downtown Suffolk landscape at the new Festival Park.
Keep your eyes out for artist Jorge-Miguel Rodriguez as he tackles the long wall that faces Festival Park during the month of July!
We will have a special artist reception at the the Suffolk Art Gallery on Friday, July 18 from 6:30-8 pm for everyone to meet him and ask questions about his process and inspiration as a mural artist, plus it’s a great excuse to let him take a break from the heat and we can have a party! Join us in welcoming him to Suffolk, and let’s celebrate the fabulous arts scene we have growing here in the heart of downtown Suffolk!
The mural dates are July 10-28 (weather permitting) and we will have a live feed of the whole project. Details coming soon!
