Nansemond River Cleanup

Join us on Saturday, October 8, 2022 (postponed from October 1), for a fun morning on the river cleaning up the wetlands. We will be removing litter and debris from the downtown part of the Nansemond River. This is a land AND water-based cleanup.

If you wish to participate from the water, you must supply own kayak or canoe. Water-based volunteers will meet at Constant’s Wharf Park & Marina – 100 E. Constance Road, Suffolk, VA 23434.

Land-based volunteers will help out by collecting litter before it makes it to the river. These volunteers will meet at the Suffolk Shopping Center – 1401-1463 N. Main St., Suffolk, VA 23434.
