GreenBeats Live
SCCA is happy to announce a new student matinee program for our 2025 season! This March we will be hosting Virginia Stage’s Company’s educational touring production Greenbeats Live! Featuring music written by Skye Zentz and Meredith Noel. GreenBeats LIVE is based on WHRO’s GreenBeats environmental animated musical series. This 45-minute-long program promotes environmental education and stewardship and is targeted toward children grades k through 4.
In GreenBeats Live, our hero Malia learns to make small changes to protect her neighborhood and the environment with help from Skip the Stray, Scoop Dog Sam and her other friends. Join her in earning your own Green Brigade Badge and get the green beat on your street!
After the performance, we will have WHRO Environmental Van join us to provide a short interactive program for kids. If you want to attend this program, please make sure to register for this event separately.
