Color, Form, and Soul Exhibit
Suffolk Parks and Recreation, Suffolk Art Gallery and Suffolk Art League will hold the opening reception for our spring exhibit, Color, Form, and Soul, on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 4 to 6 p.m. This exhibition brings together a dynamic group of Black contemporary artists from Hampton Roads: Tim Giles, Ray Johnson, Dathan Kane, Clayton Singleton, and Ken Wright. Through their diverse practices, each artist explores themes of identity, race, culture, and community, drawing inspiration from their own unique experiences.
Color, Form, and Soul will be on display at the Suffolk Art Gallery from April 27 through June 7, 2024. The gallery is located at 118 Bosley Avenue, Suffolk, Va. 23434. The Suffolk Art Gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The gallery is closed on Mondays. All exhibits and opening receptions at the Suffolk Art Gallery are free and open to the public.
