In 2013, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation launched its 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit. This serves as a tribute to those lost on September 11, 2001, including the 343 members of the FDNY who made the ultimate sacrifice saving and protecting others in the line of duty. The high-tech, 80-foot tractor-trailer transforms into a 1,100-square-foot exhibit, and helps to further educate citizens around the country about the events of that tragic day. The exhibit includes interactive education, steel beams from the towers, other artifacts from Ground Zero, documentary videos, recordings of first responder radio transmissions, and interactive guided tours from FDNY heroes.
The 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit has been connecting people from across the country to our nation’s history since 2013. From the Black Hills of South Dakota to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds and the golden hills of California to quaint New England villages, the memorial has been welcomed to nearly all 50 states, as well as Canada. We have honored the sacrifices made that day with over 350,000 visitors to date. This unique and moving education tool provides a window to the past so that future generations will learn from that tragic day. The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation is committed to ensuring we will NEVER FORGET.
