Crittenden/Eclipse/Hobson 4th of July
It has been 49 years since the Bicentennial Celebration of America’s Independence Day! For 49 years, the campus of the historic Ebenezer United Methodist Church has anchored a July 4th Parade through the best little of the world, right here, on the Chuckatuck Creek, Nansemond River-Bleakhorn Creek and James River! We wish there was an Crittenden & Eclipse combined “button” on Facebook, recognizing the anchored location of the historic Village of Crittenden and the historic Village of Eclipse! (Not forgetting Hobson!). Thanks to Ebenezer UMC for coordinating the Parade grounds, permit, and a fantastic family fun church campus wide event from morning Parade, to fun right up to the evening Fireworks by our very own historic CE&H Ruritans at sundown! “Come Home” and bring your best smile to the Parade, Raft Race, and Fireworks and all the memories to be made this 249th Independence Day!
