Hero Kids Foundation 12 Years Anniversary Celebration

We will celebrate 12 years of “giving light to those who serve at home” and the opening of Trail of Heroes: Virginia’s only all-terrain wheelchair accessible Nature Trail, located at our Nature Center.  This family-friendly outdoor event includes an adventure through our Trail of Heroes, encounters with our goats, pony and chickens, hayrides, a bonfire with s’mores, face painting, bird house building, and much more! We ask that people dress comfortably with shoes you can walk in, and bring a jacket in case it is chilly.
