This exhibit features work in a variety of mediums that depict the beauty of wildlife throughout the region and the world. Artists including Guy Crittenden, Captain John A. Leonard, Mark McNair, and Ian McNair work in woodcarving in traditional and modern forms, painting, sculpture, and mixed media.

Detective Nevins is back on the case and ready to track down the culprits behind downtown Suffolk's art heist. Solve a lighthearted mystery as you stroll around downtown in this self-guided, choose-your-own-adventure. Obtain a game packet from Morgan Memorial Library or North Suffolk Library during regular business hours and hit the streets to start solving clues and chasing down the culprit behind this art heist. Solve the mystery by May 3 and you can enter to win a gift basket from Suffolk Tourism.

In celebration of Historic Garden Week, join the Suffolk Farmers' Market and Stillwater Tea House as they present a Tea Tasting and Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, April 24, 2021, from 11am to 3pm, at the Suffolk Visitor Center Pavilion. The plant sale will feature gorgeous cut flowers, vegetable seedlings, herbs, potted flowers, shrubs, and even sapling trees—all locally grown and provided by Fable Flower Farm, B&H Produce, Ellington Everything Seedlings, and the Master Gardeners. Stillwater Tea House will have tables set up for those who might like to try some of their decadent finger foods and sweets, as well as their selection of fine teas!

An official Virginia Civil War Trail site, Cedar Hill Cemetery has long been an attraction for history buffs and even walking groups. The Suffolk Division of Tourism offers a guided stroll through the pleasant 32-acre cemetery, rich in history and natural beauty. The 75-minute daytime tour will offer unique insights into Suffolk’s heritage as tour goers traverse the cedar-lined terrain dotted with timeworn headstones.
