DESCRIPTION:ON VIEW: March 11 – April 8, 2025\nOPENING RECEPTION: Thursday, March 11, 2025, 6:30pm – 8pm\nSuffolk Center’s award-winning Art Galleries are FREE and open to the public Tuesday – Saturday, 10am – 4pm.\nSuffolk Sister Cities International is proud to present the 2025 Young Artists and Authors Showcase, inviting youth from around the world to express their creativity through the theme “Friendship: The Heartbeat of Global Peace.” This year’s them highlights the power of friendship to foster understanding, collaboration, and peace across border.\nBy participating in this inspiring competition, young creators will have the opportunity to share their vision of a peaceful world. Through art, music, and creative writing, students will contribute to the international dialogue about the importance of building friendships and bridging cultural divides.\nWinning artwork is then sent from Suffolk to Washington, D.C., where a panel of judges selects the final winners based on originality, composition, and theme interpretation.
