SUMMARY:Suffolk Art League’s Annual Juried Exhibition 2023
DESCRIPTION:The Suffolk Art League will present the 2023 Annual Juried Exhibition, on display from October 28 to December 1. This juried exhibition is open to artists working in any medium. There will be cash awards and the First Place winner has the opportunity to present a one-person show at the Suffolk Art Gallery in 2024. Lively earned a BFA in Sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University and has exhibited nationally and internationally in solo, juried, and group exhibitions. He has taught at VCU and the Virginia Museum Studio School and currently operates his own classes “Painting Outside with Matt Lively.” He is active in a number of art-related non-profits and community projects.\nAn Opening Reception and Awards Presentation will take place on Saturday, October 28, from 4-6pm at the Suffolk Art Gallery.\nThe Art Gallery is open Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-5pm, and Sunday, from 1-5pm.\n
