    The Fall Exhibit, Cumulative Contemplations, by watercolor artist Sharon Hardin will open to the public on Friday, September 25, 2020. Hardin has been painting with watercolor for the past three decades, and has exhibited from local to international galleries with her work. She has worked as an arts educator with arts councils and universities, including the North Carolina School of the Arts and Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This exhibit will be on display at the Suffolk Art Gallery through October 16, 2020.

  2. Cedar Hill Cemetery Stroll

    September 26, 2020, 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM @ Departs from Suffolk Visitor Center Pavilion

    An official Virginia Civil War Trail site, Cedar Hill Cemetery has long been an attraction for history buffs and even walking groups. The Suffolk Division of Tourism offers a guided stroll through the pleasant 32-acre cemetery, rich in history and natural beauty. The 75-minute daytime tour will offer unique insights into Suffolk’s heritage as tour goers traverse the cedar-lined terrain dotted with timeworn headstones. Reservations are required and cancellations are expected no less than 48 hours prior to scheduled tour. Call the Suffolk Visitor Center at 757.514.4130 to reserve your spot. Participants will meet under the Suffolk Visitor Center Pavilion.
