Tidewater Turners is a non-profit organization, a local chapter of the American Association of Woodturners, located in Norfolk. The purpose of the organization is to promote the advancement of woodturning skills for members and other interested persons through an open exchange of knowledge, ideas and information. They also strive to increase public awareness of woodturning as a popular craft and as an art form. Exhibit sponsored by Davenport & Company.

An official Virginia Civil War Trail site, Cedar Hill Cemetery has long been an attraction for history buffs and even walking groups. The Suffolk Division of Tourism offers a guided stroll through the pleasant 32-acre cemetery, rich in history and natural beauty. The 90-minute daytime tour will offer unique insights into Suffolk’s heritage as tour goers traverse the cedar-lined terrain dotted with timeworn headstones. Reservations are required and cancellations are expected no less than 48 hours prior to scheduled tour. Call the Suffolk Visitor Center at 757.514.4130 to reserve your spot. Special rates are available for groups of 12 or more.

The Suffolk Division of Tourism wants to give you the fright of your life as they present a series of classic horror films at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts. Scare yourself silly with The Exorcist, the 1973 film that some call the "scariest movie ever." The show begins at 8pm and admission is free and open to the public.
