  1. Suffolk Art League's Annual Juried Exhibition

    This Juried Exhibition is open to all visual artists working in any medium. The exhibition typically features approximately 100 works of art by artists from the Hampton Roads region and beyond. Over $2,400 in awards will be given, including a $500 First Prize and the opportunity for a one-person exhibit at the Suffolk Art Gallery in 2019. The juror will be Dr. Cole Welter, Graduate Program Director, Professor of Art, Painting and Drawing, at James Madison University.

In fact, Luciana's pretty sure they don’t even like her. It’s great to be good at science—but Luciana learns that it’s not enough. If she’s ever going to make it to Mars, she has to be someone her crew can depend on, no matter what.

Shoppers will also find discounts and holiday specials from downtown’s established retailers and restaurateurs’ as well.

  4. Sparc in the Park

    Enjoy a family friendly Fall Fest, featuring a Vintage Marketplace with upcycled furniture, antiques and collectibles, handcrafted creations by local and regional artisans, interactive arts and craft activities for all. Activities include making your own copper dog tags, painting a pint glass, decorative rock and pumpkin painting. There will also be trick-or-treating for costumed kids. Concessions will be available for purchase. The Courthouse Park is located between the Godwin Courts Building and the SPARC Shoppe, at 150 N. Main Street.

  5. Christmas in Driver

    November 24, 2018, 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Kings Highway, Driver Village

    Driver is THE place to be, on Saturday, November 24, 2018! Santa arrives at 6:30pm on a fire truck and will sit in Harmony House. Please bring your camera for pictures! There will be free popcorn, hot cocoa, and chili (while supplies last). We will also be collecting new unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots, and non-perishable food items for the local Food Pantry. Be sure to stop in each shop for that special Christmas gift!
