The work of renowned sculptors William and David Turner of the Eastern Shore of Virginia will be on exhibit at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts September 14th (opening reception) until October 21st. Both the BB&T and Norfolk Foundation galleries will house the amazing Turner creations in bronze as well as some of William Turner’s paintings. William Turner’s four published books will be available for purchase during the exhibit. The Turners, father and son, share a talent of capturing the beauty and motion of wildlife in bronze. To date the Turners have created more than 700 different limited edition bronzes and more than 100 large public commissions found throughout the U.S.

Entertainment by Hanks Martin: "Waylin' On Waylon", Tailgate Down, River Boyz, Daughters of the King, and Colonel Cobb, Ventriloquist.
Free parking is available at Titan Contractors on Nansemond Parkway. $5 parking is available at the Suffolk Humane Society and Berea Christian Church.

Fall into the season with a day of family fun! There will be a Pumpkin Decorating Contest (Bring your own decorated pumpkin,) Candy Apple Making, Costume Contest, Trunk or Treat, Live Music, Outdoor Movie, Cornhole Tournament, and a Fall Crawl Obstacle Course.

Throw it back to the days of the Drive In! Bennett's Creek will transform for a family fun night of children's activities and two larger-than-life movie screens to watch the fun animated film, Hotel Transylvania, from the comfort of your front seat! Two full concession areas will be available with food and treats. No coolers or outside food in lawn movie area. Pets are welcome and must be on a leash when outside of your vehicle. The park will open at 5 p.m. for parking and fun activities for the children, to include games, crafts, and bounce houses, while you wait for the movie to begin. The movie will begin at 7 p.m.

A hair-raising encounter with the spirited side of Suffolk. Follow a costumed guide through the shadows of historic Main Street discovering stories, legends and "unexplained occurrences" by lantern light. Tales of unsolved mysteries and unresolved affairs abound throughout Suffolk's historically hip Ghost Walk. Reservations required.
