“Tangled Roots: A Celebration of Black Culture”

Join the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts for the “Tangled Roots: A Celebration of Black Culture,” on March 24, 2024, beginning at 3pm. The Tangled Roots Black Expo is an exhibition dedicated to Professional Black Creatives in the Hair, Fashion, Makeup, Visual Arts, and Entrepreneurial Industries! With one goal in mind, we want to educate, entertain, celebrate, and impact the Suffolk community through diversity and excellence in the arts.

This spectacular event will feature cosmetologists, industry-related exhibitors, keynote speaker Dr. Dwight S. Riddick, and musical entertainment. This will be a fantastic day filled with networking, opportunities for learning, sales and shopping, and relationship building. This expo brings together professionals, enthusiasts, and industry leaders, providing an excellent platform for businesses to showcase products and services to a diverse audience. It’s a unique opportunity to connect with potential customers, build brand awareness, and engage with the local community. During the Black Expo we are excited to include the highlight of the Expo – The Black Influential Community Leadership Award. The Black Influential Community Leadership Award will recognize three prominent leaders who have blazed new trails, led the way, mentored others, advanced diversity, and inclusion in the community, and excelled in their chosen fields.
