Movies at the Center: Mary Poppins Returns


The Suffolk Division of Tourism, in partnership with the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts, is pleased to present Mary Poppins Returns, at the Suffolk Center on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 2pm. This dazzling family-friendly film was a huge box office hit and received critical praise. Movie fans will get a special treat after the film, as Mary Poppins herself will be stopping by for photos with film attendees. Admission is FREE and open to the public; however, a donation of a canned good or non-perishable item is encouraged. In Depression-era London, a grown-up Michael Banks and his sister Jane, along with Michael’s three children, find their lives turned upside down by the 'practically perfect' and enigmatic Mary Poppins. Through her unique magical skills, and with the aid of her friend Jack, she helps the family rediscover the joy and wonder missing in their lives. The all-star cast includes Emily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer, Julie Walters, Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, and more!

This film is rated PG and has a running time of 130 minutes. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
